Thanks for your comments, Geoff - it's good to know that all the hard work is appreciated. Well done, everyone, for your help in making this trial yet another success for the club. We couldn't do it without all the fantastic members who turn up regularly to sort things out beforehand as well as on the day - you are all ace! Thank you every single one.

Same as the post below but without some of the spelling mistakes.

Perhaps I can ***t Gary with information on the Llangollen Club Badge he has found.
Some years ago the Club promoted the Tour of Wales Enduro, (The brainchild of Nick Banks from Liverpool).
I served many a year as Sec of Meeting or Clerk of Course. In Enduro's, Awards are presented to finishers in the form of Gold , Silver and Bronze medals, and this is where your badge originated from.
Every finisher was presented with a badge and the two rings where used to hang a Gold ,Silver or Bronze Bar underneath it.
The Bar was enamelld with the year and Tour of Wales. ie (1982 Tour of Wales)
The badge idea was realy a copy of the marshals badge from the then "RAC Rally." If you marshalled you got a badge and then a Year Bar to hang underneath each year after. Hope a bit of LLangollen Club History has cleared it up for you.
(Have a look at The welsh Six Day Teams Website)
